No, I don't hate you. I just don't like slippers. My feet are rather
warm in these socks, but I don't like how they squeeze my toes. Does
that go away when the socks are worn in?

I've got these slipper/moccasin type of things that cost $5 from the
Chinese importer. They are made of synthetic sheepskin. I virtually
live in them when I'm home. They have soles so you can go outside in
them as well if its dry. They are very soft so you don't need socks.
They only last a few months and so I chuck 'em and get some more. I
love the Chinese importer shop.
