Object: so i guess everyone has gone to sleep now
and i am still awake....
damnit, and its light in the east AGAIN, which means, the sun is rising,
which means, a new day is arriving, which means, starting all over again.
hate this.
i feel best at night. i will be tired in about an hour or two, and then i
wake up into a new day.......and, who knows what the new day will bring.
i just don't want to "go home" right now, meaning, turn off the computer and
goto sleep. don't send me away...
:/
sorry for the whine.

Hi Aaron.
It's Saturday night and I'm at home (I don't have much of a social life) so
I'll be around for a while if you want company.

I'm ok. I'm a bit nervous about work on Monday and seeing my new therapist,
and I'm still a bit prone to anxiety (easily frustrated when things don't
work out) but I'm 500% improved on where I was at a week ago.

always nervous starting a new job. ive been prone to anxiety since my
accident with caffiene tabs
a few years ago....but things are better now.... Im glad you're 500% better
from the other week.
it can be a vicious cycle sometimes, right? anxiety/depression......

yeah, the two go together really strongly for me. I've never fully fit the
criteria for a specific anxiety disorder, but I have a fair bit of panic
disorder and generalised anxiety. I think my "official" diagnosis is some
kind of mixed state.
I can't even imagine what I'd be like on caffiene tablets...it'd be like I
was on speed I think. I can drink a normal amount of tea or cola without
any impact, but my pdoc has warned me to never take diet pills or herbal
tablets that contain any stimulants.

i took caffiene tablets for the first, and last time, in Dec 03.... i was
SO stupid, thinking i could handle 4 NoDoze,
since the directions said each NoDoze was like 1 cup of coffee. and I was
used to having 5-6 cups of coffee within a hour or two.
so i thought it would be okay....BIG MISTAKE....heart started racing a few
hours later, felt very bad, so bad...that night in Dec 03
i ended up in the ER thinking i was going to die (i had 4 nodoze PLUS
coffee)...........what a mistake that was
that mistake cost me my health (or sense of health actually, i was still
kinda healthy ) for the rest of that month and all of 2004.........then i
was constantly
having some kind of caffiene attack/ reaction for all of 2004 and part of
2005...heart racing, feeling ill, scared to death. which finally got
resolved somehow... maybe i had a sensitivity to caffiene after the mini-OD,
which faded away,,,thankfully, and partly thanks to Xanax, it helped once i
got that....
the only upside, is, it also pushed me into trying anti-depressants for the
first time in my life, which helped somewhat with the depression, which i
had long before the caffiene OD....
geezz i feel like im spilling my stupid mistakes for all to see. well
whatever. what does it matter? nevermind me rambling!
i can drink 5-6 cups of coffee again (thankfully!) but i wont even look at
a pack of over the counter caffiene pills again
stupid me.

what's the movie with Richard Gere, manic depression? he tells the story

Now the sun's coming up in the midwest...St. Louis.

St Louis Missouri ay ?
i'm only a hundred or so miles to the east, but much further north......
north of Chicago. so anyway, you see the light of the sun at almost the
same time that I do...
the very same light that i am dreading, because it makes me tired (the sleep
cycle kicks in),,,,,, then i wake up feeling like HELL.
never been to St Louis, closest i've been is Springfield, IL ...... are the
winters brutal in St Louis ? they are up here. the midwest sucks. i want
the ocean near me.
..........***** the midwest. ***** the suburbs. ***** chicago too. (sorry i
should just goto sleep and shut the hell up, i dont feel bad at all right
now, just overly talkative)

hate this.

i feel best at night. i will be tired in about an hour or two, and

then

i

wake up into a new day.......and, who knows what the new day will

bring.

i just don't want to "go home" right now, meaning, turn off the

computer

and

goto sleep. don't send me away...

:/

sorry for the whine.

Now the sun's coming up in the midwest...St. Louis.

St Louis Missouri ay ?
i'm only a hundred or so miles to the east, but much further north......
north of Chicago. so anyway, you see the light of the sun at almost the
same time that I do...
the very same light that i am dreading, because it makes me tired (the sleep
cycle kicks in),,,,,, then i wake up feeling like HELL.

never been to St Louis, closest i've been is Springfield, IL ...... are the
winters brutal in St Louis ? they are up here. the midwest sucks. i want
the ocean near me.

.........***** the midwest. ***** the suburbs. ***** chicago too. (sorry i
should just goto sleep and shut the hell up, i dont feel bad at all right
now, just overly talkative)

Ha...good rant. Winters used to be brutal in my childhood with
several significant snowfall every season. They've been eerily mild
the last several years. It's the summer heat and humidity that suck.
I hate swimming and don't care about the ocean.

I've got an old set of Ping Eye-II's I got for highschool graduation
in 1987 and a more recent set of Big Bertha 2002's. I used to play
often and at one point had my handicap down to around 13. I don't
seem to enjoy it much anymore and have no desire to spend 5 hours in
the hot sun making poor contact and getting frustrated. Golf would be
great if it were somehow 80% easier and took about 2 hours to complete
a round.

Well it helped for me that my Dad was a fanatic and member at a club
where I could play free anytime. And our highschool had a pretty
serious golf team. I once shanked a ball that made a bee-line for Dad
in the right rough about 30 feet away. He covered and the ball
bounced right off his forearm. Hurt him like a mother and left the
dimple impression and later bad bruise. Ah I cherish that moment
often.
