so maybe not an apartment |
still seeing the same add in the paper, they only had one 3 bedroom 3 bath
apartment to rent in the school district listed. Was an apartment that
wasn't giving me problems about my pet which most in this town don't allow,
houses, duplexes or apartments.
I've tried calling a couple of times, I don't want to start out by being a
pain the ***** already, so have just left a couple of friendly iquiries as to
when she thought I would be able to arrange a move in date so I can find
lifting help, moving help and get utilities in my name.
this would be so typical for my life.

Have you signed a lease yet? Until you and the landlord sign the rental
lease, the landlord can rent the apartment to someone else.

I hope you get this apartment. If not, I'm sure there must be other
apartments that would be good for you.

It was my experience that if it's a landlord that's just the kind where it's
a guy who owns some property, you can usually ask if he's willing to meet
your pet. As long as you don't have a doberman that's completely hyper and
you're trying to move into a 1 bedroom apt they're cool. Especially about
cats.
My cat came rear wheel drive only, and that especially puts landlords at
ease. Often I had to pay a non-refundable pet deposit of $100 or so, but no
big deal.
The places that are corporate owned are the ones that have a policy and
won't bend no matter what.
