So when I went to the LBS.. |
...to get beer, the guy asked for ID.. ..so I said "if you think it's
necessary".. ...he laughed and glanced me over suspiciously and said "ooh
yah".
after he looks at it, he's like.. .."oh.. .you're wellll old enough"..
hasn't happened for awhile.. ..but it's nice when it does..
it's funny, I actually have some odd patches of white/grey hair coming in,
(probably caused more by stress than anything)

Could have been something he was going through at the time that was
causing some anxiety, a previous customer? I used to let those types of
things bother me until I'm able to get on the right amount of
antipsychotic.

They asked for ID when I was at the store today, full "unabomber" cold
weather gear on because it's too much of a pain in the ***** to remove for
a 2 minute trip. I asked her if it looked like me.

when I worked in a convenience one of the regulars was a quite short
young-looking male. he didn't look old enough to drive but I couldn't
card him because he was only buying gas. it's not part of my job
description to check to see if someone has a license to drive. I was
just curious.
one day he came in for beer and I got to card him. 22 - damn, he looked
about 14 '-)
