meter is ringing off the chart. Just be frickin honest for pete's sake.
It doesn't diminish your argument or your philosophical approach; in
fact, it would strengthen it.
What I haven't told anyone here is that I've been contemplating voting
for Kerry.
Once again, compare and contrast (esp. you Tara, who can't seem to
understand the concept of rigidity. I guess I'm so rigid I've been
thinking of voting for Kerry, my bad):

I was brought up in the catholic belief that lefties were the spawn of
Satan. I was taught to be right handed. For writing I am right handed,
although I can write with my left but its pretty chaotic. Most everything
else I do, I do left handed.

heh. I had to write left-handed for awhile. Didn't actually improve
much over those 8 weeks. Musta been painfully difficult to have to

areana, and it's getting out of hand. There are people on the right who
are doing the same thing. I recently slapped a Republican in another

I have to admit to a more than passing interest in whether the world's
most powerful imperialist nation is going to be led for the next four
years by a nutcase [1] who likes to play soldiers with real people, or
someone who's state of mind is not yet clear but who has a history of
doing war for real and at the sharp end. The decision process does take
far too long though.

Because the American media that I read is giving poor coverage to
the _content_ of the two men's policies, and I want to understand
how one ordinary citizen is evaluating them.
Because there's a hell of a lot more substance to a discussion
based on policy than there is to one that's based on polemic and
extreme polarity.
Because when we talk about the issues instead of the emotions, we
are fighting back against the mindless bashing.
