I agree I don't think it's ever too late.
I have estranged myself from my 2 older brothers (who also have issues
like myself)by writing crazy emails and going off on them. Not that I
was the only guilty party..
Now just this past month I emailed both of them to see if we could
make amends, told them not to write if they don't want to (like they
need to be told this) so i haven't heard from them. At least I tried,
i did my part.
My entire family is off kilter but that's who we are. Maybe i"ll try
again in years to come who knows. But I think you should at least do
your part and its on the other person to respond. At least you can
feel better I think knowing you tried you know what i mean...?...

Good advice Gayle. I think it's possible to make amends at any age.
Imho, for me making amends is about doing all I can to do so (without
being obsessive about it) whether the person accepts my efforts or
not. Sometimes making amends is about continuing to try to do so,
trying different things to get that message across. Sometimes it's
about doing all I can and then having to stop actively trying with the
person. Whatever you're talking about, good luck Teil.
