gets to be quite good sometimes
i'm not a fan of
Drew Carey's
particularly
must say,
but..
on a good show,
these ppl are very funny
and quite clever with the improv
from what i gather (guess i've seen
about 5-7 over the last few months)
there are also ordinary shows where
they don't quite fire
it must be that 'going live' element
actually am reminded of some bbc radio comedy word game / trivia type shows
from years ago (can't remember names particularly) where the wit of
different guests were featured each time. I know - this could describe any
number of past efforts but the memory of late night listening to these is
distinct
anyone else remember listening to the radio from foreign lands (whether
shortwave or relayed by local broadcasters)?
always seemed so 'exotic' - bringing in vivid images in from that far away
foreign land. I even enjoyed listening to the static on HF band actually
(imagining aliens trying to communicate i suppose). It seems most of us have
a more active imagination when we're younger. I guess it just kinda
diminishes over the years one way or another.. Reality sets in etc
ramble
*/off
.
