spoiler - my day at the dentis |
so, this infection that makes me look like i'm chewing a golf ball came up.
i went to the dentist.
they polished my teeth. which tickled.
they then found that my wisdom tooth was popping through. he tried to
convince me to allow him to run a scalpal over it. i said, no... he
said that if it comes through, i won't have to have the extraction,
having the scalpal will guarantee it comes through. i said, no...
i think i should have said yes. i could have skipped the long term pain
with short term intense pain and shock. i still chose the former.
seems utterly ridiculous that i didn't choose the scalpal but, well, i
was there...

that's what a lot of people have said... but when they come through,
food stops getting trapped and stop forming the kind of bacteria that
create the swell, apparently.
i'm booked to have it out in february, but it was booked because they
didn't know it was actually going to come through, i've the booking
anyway. that way i've got no choice come february if it's still being a
bugger. if it gets bad again before, i'll go and just demand the
injections, although i think i said that last time.

golf ball came up.
i went to the dentist.
they polished my teeth. which tickled.
they then found that my wisdom tooth was popping
through. he tried to convince me to allow him to run a
scalpal over it. i said, no... he said that if it
comes through, i won't have to have the extraction,
having the scalpal will guarantee it comes through. i
said, no...
i think i should have said yes. i could have skipped
the long term pain with short term intense pain and
shock. i still chose the former.
seems utterly ridiculous that i didn't choose the
scalpal but, well, i was there...
sounds scary. was he going to deaden it before using the
scalpel?
i don't think so, no.
egads...
and so i left... with antibiotics. well, he still insisted
on jabbing around with root-canal cleaning fluid in case it
helped. i just wish the puss that makes up the swelling
would drain around out around the bit of tooth that's
through. that'd help me sleep.
sounds like you should have let him lance it...
should've had the entire jaw removed and be done with it
that could actually happen from what i've heard. i've made a promise to
go back if the biotics don't work and just ask for the injection. i
didn't recognise the right to ask at the time.
i'm planing early next year to have all my teeth removed and replace
with
dentures with teeth that have photos of people from asd on them
i can only afford spaces
come up here and use my ID and you'll be done for free
.

fingers crossed the biotics will start to work in a few days...
i should've clicked at the time and asked for injections and drainage.
but i had the fear and didn't think.
