Object: spouse sets heat to 76 deg?
I know, what does this have to do with depression. But for me it does.
Believe me, there is a connection here to ASD.
So with the rising utility costs for gas (heating) and electricity (and
Tim's rising real estate taxes...other thread), I get home today and my
spouse has the heat set to 76 degrees. Big old drafty house. What's he care,
he doesn't pay the bills. Home all day, shirt sleeves, heat up to 76.
sheesh. This is what I work my arse off for?

I built a thermostat that requires 2 keys to change the temperature,
like a nuclear missile launch. ;)

I'd be sleeping on the couch unless I told my lady friend the code to
override. Then she'd still crank it back up to "tropical".
We actually do have a digital one and it's nice in the way you can set
the programs. So at bedtime it takes care of things, then the house is
already warm in the morning and during the day it does....whatever.
Then it also knows when it's a weekend and runs a different program.
That's a nice feature too.
