Object: Started Zoloft today..
I posted in another post and I started Zoloft today. Boy, do I feel
uneasy. My heart is racing, my mouth is dry and my stomach hurts. I
feel drugged. I don't remember feeling like this when I took it
before. This stuff should all subside shouldn't it??

when I first started Lexapro, which is said to be very similar to Zoloft, I
felt drugged, sleepy and buzzed on the first day.
after that, those side effects were gone. but everyone reacts differently
to every different drug.
hopefully you will feel better soon, and the side effects will go away.
keep your doctor informed about any and all side effects you go through,
especially if they get worse.

It should all subside yes...that's the thing about starting a
medication...the side effects that eventually go away. If they get too
difficult to deal with or don't go away contact your doc! No need to
suffer. Hope you feel better.

Start a drug diary and list all your physical/mental sensations and
feelings. Next time you may need to start another anti-d you can track
your progress and see what you went through before, and it will help
to lesson your anxiety. Also very useful to bring with you to your
next doctor's appointment.
Finally, yes it should subside. Hang in there and keep posting.
