I don't know.

You woke up today. That went well, didn't it?

why is everything so fucked up ?

Because money is the root of all evil.

Go to the emergency ward and tell them you have suicidal thoughts, and are
thinking of acting on them.

is anyone out there ?

Yup, but I don't know if I've been of any help.
Take care,

*love* of money. Money itself in an inanimate object.

Go to the emergency ward and tell them you have suicidal thoughts, and are
thinking of acting on them.

Agreed

Isn't money a concept. The bits of paper and metal just give us a way to
deal with a minority of it - most is data bits in bank computers.

Hi PB
I'm new here and you don't seem to have got too much help, you don't seem
like a regular
There are ways of dealing with suicidial thought.
1. Are you one medication. If you are so depressed that you are suicidal
that would be a good idea. It might be a good idea to be hospitalised until
you are feeling better though. What country are you in?
2. There are ways of dealing with suicial thought by therapeutic means.
Usually Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I part. like Mindfulness-based
Cognitive Therapy. By recognising everytime you have a suicidal thought you
can stop ruminating on it and do something else each time - like a reward,
maybe a chocolate.
It sounds like things are pretty pear shaped though so I would definitely
reccommend looking at medication - upping it if you are on it.
Give me a shout if you need to.

Think of something else. I *know* it's difficult, but it is the only
way. I stuck a pair of earphones on, and turned up the volume till it
hurt. Suicide hot-lines can help some people, too - talking things out
can give you a different perspective. The Samaritans is a national one
in the UK - I don't know what you have in Canada.

all bad lately, good lord, when will something go right ?

It's difficult to see things as going right when you're down in the Pit.
ECT, meds and talk therapy may help (in order of speed if it works).
It's rare for anyone to be given ECT straight away, even when they're
suicidal, so meds will be the best option, along with hospitalisation.
Long term, a combination of meds and therapy work best, for most people.

why is everything so fucked up ?

Sometimes it's the depression changing the way we see things. Sometimes
it really is fucked up. Try to put off any big decisions (apart from
essential ones, like hospital) until you're through this (and almost
everyone does get through it).

need to go to hospital i think. how the hell do you get admitted ?

Here in the UK, you crawl into Accident and Emergency and tell them
you're going to kill yourself. It works best if you have a plan. If you
don't, they won't think it's so urgent. It doesn't matter if you have a
plan or not, and you can refuse to tell them any details either way;
just saying you have one will get them to take you more seriously.

is anyone out there ?

Only those of us who got through it.

They can go away on their own or you can do things to counter them. You
can acknowledge them when they come up and then just let go of them,
deny them. You can intentionally think a different thought each time one
arises like, "there's suicidal thought, I am going to think of wellness
instead," and then just imagine yourself being well. If you can't even
imagine being well, then just wonder about it, wonder what it would be
like. Thought replacement. There are medications too.

all bad lately, good lord, when will something go right ?

When you notice it.

why is everything so fucked up ?

Because people tend to believe whatever they think.

need to go to hospital i think. how the hell do you get admitted ?

With great difficulty or else under unpleasant circumstances. You can
get screened at almost any clinic and then advised on where to go from
there. You can also get checked at any GP or family doctor.
If you find yourself with a plan in action, then go to an emergency room.

If you're that bad, you need immediate support. More than can be
provided on a newsgroup. Not insulting you. I've been there too many
times.

There is a section for Canada.

Hello. Try to hang on and maybe say more about what is going on.
Usually if feeling this bad just go to emergency and tell them. But
talking it out here might calm you a bit too. Just post and people
will answer - caring people. Hang tough
