supposed to go to fireworks tonite... |
but it's rained buckets all afternoon. can't decide now whether or not to
go. seems like it would be miserable sitting out on wet ground.

no, they canceled all of the fireworks around town because of the t-storms
and rain. we had "natural" fireworks last night. :)

no, they canceled all of the fireworks around town because of the t-storms
and rain. we had "natural" fireworks last night. :)
We were in Sioux Falls that day, and while it rained a little around noon, it
was dry when the fireworks started going off around 9:45...and from a friend's
balcony on the south edge of the city, we could see the small towns putting on
some pretty big displays - and about five times as much as we would have seen
had we gone to the one big one here in Houston, with the sound effects
anywhere from 15 seconds to a minute after the flash...

it was supposed to rain here, too, but so far it's held off. i
hope i get the strawberries picked today while it's dry.
