talking to my millipedes is normal |
Other people talk to their dogs and cats, so there is nothing wrong with
talking to my millipedes.

the difference would be that cats and dogs can hear human speech. their
eardrums are close enough in size to ours. i have no idea whether a
millipede can hear or not. i'm not an entomologist.
but if you enjoy speaking to them, then that's great. that's the whole
purpose of having a pet.

I doubt that they can hear. AFAIK, they don't have ears. They can sense
vibrations, though.

Prince Charles does, so it can't be normal. I mean, we are talking about
someone who wanted to be a tampon!

Heh, I'd forgotten about those phone calls.
When I was a kid I once watched Attack of the 50 Foot Woman and wondered if
a woman who was 50 feet tall is large enough to allow a full sized man to
re-experience birth.
Oh okay... I have thought about it many times since. Does anyone happen to
know how to work out the vaginal capacity of a 50 foot tall woman?
Warning, sick joke follows:
If Prince Charles were gay, would he dream of being a gerbil?

Is that real, or a tall tale?

It's a joke... Geez, and you have the nerve to suggest that I don't get
British humor... ;)

You didn't notice it, then?
I have seen a word defined as sexual use of gerbils in an encyclopaedia.
I still don't believe it. Besides, I know a different meaning of the
word. It's always nice to know more than the reference text. :)

I don't think there's anything wrong with it. You're right. I talk to
my dog all the time. I'll only worry if she starts talking back. :)
