Thank GOD my parents leave today! |
Not a minute too soon. I was hoping their visit would be without
incident, but it was only a matter of time before things blew up
yesterday. I really hope I don't see them for a long time, things
never change.

There's nothing quite like having people who make you tense and anxious
staying in your house for the holidays, is there? Rose, if we listed ten
subject lines from every month of this last year and then did a survey
asking who could relate to each one, I bet this one would be somewhere in
the top grouping.
How soon till the coast is clear? And aren't you glad our families don't
read asd? ;-)

Hope you get some rest and lots of quiet.
People never understand when I say I'm glad my parents died young.
I've been spared twenty years of Holiday Hell, abuse and alcoholism
combined with old-age ailments and caregiving. My grandmother was more
than enough.

Oh dear. In my experience, FWIW, and which may not
be at all relevant to you, ppl can change and become
aware ... but it's up to them, and it can take many
years.
