Object: Thanks guys!!!
I made it through the night, and the main reason was that I knew no matter what
time of day or night, there would always be somebody there to hold my hand.
In the event, I took a Xanax and went to sleep. To sleep, perchance to dream. To
dream of friendships that circle the globe.

I'm glad you made it through ok. Night's the hardest time for
me. Sounds like you might be the same, especially when alone. I
just read about your chance encounter. Must have doubly made
your day!

Aw shucks, Rose, you're loved too. (Time for the two of us to get a room!)
I just got back from a walk to the pharmacy to get my meds. On the way I had one
of those nifty little "messages from a higher perfect reality (not to say
'God')" that reminds me why it was worthwhile toughing things out last night.
For 6.5 years I was commuting 3 hours a day to a job; 21 months ago I started
working at a place that's a 7 minute walk from home. During that time, I often
spent time chatting with another woman on the bus; she & I live in the same
neighbourhood, and were working in the same part of the city. I hadn't seen her
since I took my present job.
And as I was walking to the pharmacy, didn't the two of us cross paths, and have
a lovely chat and get caught up with each other! Dark night of the soul followed
by angelic encounter. Or something like that.

Aw Tara, didn't see your post; I'd have stood up for you, regardless of
time zone (glad other people did anyway :-).
