Object: that ole kick in the gut
one would think I would recognize it. this wasn't
the "up 3 hours and it hits" either. I've been up and
out since... oh ... 9, 10 a.m. and it's 9 something p.m.
not hungry or otherwise deprived either.
I should try the Ken tactic of putting little signs up...
but in the acute stages I'm not reading much.

but the edge is still Out there. Or maybe it's In... HST (1967)
when i got to the edge , i built a deck % (2005)

My Crohn's acted up big time last night. That was
a kick in the gut too. No warning and I'm not sure
what set if off either. Sometimes I really hate it.

Crohn's is indeed something to hate. My thing is
this visceral "contraction" inside with deeply morose
feelings coming with it, that has hit me several times
lately. And no one seems to know what it is here
or in Real Life and I'm tired of that.
But it's not the _worst_ kind of depression. I know
that. And a whole lot less debilitating all things
considered, than Crohn's.

Luckily my Crohn's isn't a bad case compared to many
people who have it. Flare ups don't happen too often
or last too long and I only have to take medicine on
rare occasions. Watching what I eat and how much
plus staying well rested usually is all I need to do.
Plus reduce stress which is difficult sometimes with
the depression.

Course that doesn't mean we're glad to have either one.
