I think animals can sense that I'm kind to them. A neighbor's dog at

barked from their balcony when I got close, but now the dog doesn't pay
much attention to me when I walk by. I quickly became the favorite of a

and a cat belonging to my relatives. Even wild animals such as rabbits
quickly learn that they need not fear me.
