Object: the belly look, a male perspective
I gotta tell ya, this belly thing truly bothers me. I'm a normal, hetero 47
year-old male, and I don't look forward to spring in the sense that it's
become, in the last couple of years, man-tease time.
I think the belly shirt low-rider look is manipulative, teasing, unconscious,
and potentially dangerous. The FACT is that it is COMPLETELY a sexual
advertisement, and as such is offensive - actually abusive to men, who will be
constantly turned on, stimulated, frustrated, so the young hottie can feel
good about herself. It's a power thing for women, and I resent it!
I don't understand this - aren't these CT's aware that the vibrations they are
sending out are potentially dangerous? Do they realize the potential
consequences of the sexual tease (at best unwanted come-ons, at worst rape), or
are they blinded by their sexual power over men?
I actually can't wait for this style to pass, it's unfair to us men and does no
good for any young woman. It's degrading to women IMHO, and actually the
vibration it send out loud and clear is" I'm STUPID! and I follow the crowd of
stupids".
Please explain this to me!
DF
don't want to see no more female sex advertisements!
