Object: the cat is home...
someone called last nite after seeing our sign. she'd been in their yard
for a few days. it's the next neighborhood over. i don't know how she got
over there or why she didn't just come home.
now i am reluctant to get re-attached to her. i figure she'll just up and
leave again whenever she gets the notion. :/
but i'm glad she's home even if it's just for a short while. sitting in my
lap where she belongs.

glad your kitty cat is back home where she belongs.
can you keep kitty in the house so she doesn't run away again, or is she an
outdoor cat ?

she's very much an outdoor cat. we don't even have to have a litter box,
which is VERY nice, btw.

This is great news :)
My cat is desexed, has an id tag and a microchip but luckily she doesn't
like to roam too far away.
Even if your kitty does decide to wander again, at least you can be
comforted by knowing that she can look after herself for a week or so in
case it takes you time to find her again.
Enjoy having her back and purring again :)

Give her a skritch between the ears from me.

YIPEE! That's great news...although I'd be concerned about her
wandering off again too. Congrats and give her a head-butt for me.

yes, i *am* concerned she'll just run away again. each time she goes out, i
tell myself that i probably won't see her again. and i feel myself
protecting my heart by avoiding her as much as possible just in case she ups
and leaves again. which she probably will. :/

Spoil her often with her favorite treats and affection, she'll stick
around. She went 6 months without roaming before, she probably got
lost chasing a wabbit.

yes, she's been spayed and had her shots. now we just need to get her a
collar, i guess. i hate putting collars on cats because it annoys them so,
but it's better than losing her again.

Oh I'm so glad she has returned. It'll be alright. She might just need
lots of attention and to be kept inside the house for a fair while. I
reckon she'll settle down. I am so glad you found her. :)
