Nah, I live in Burnaby now. I have a room and some stuff. Too much stuff. I
want to get it pared down to just what I can carry on my back all at once.
Then I will decide where to go. Not the northern route though, north of
Cambie, there are things I can't agree with anymore. Maybe north though,
maybe the Sunshine Coast. But I may just stay here. If I stay down here, I
don't need wheels.

Supposedly, the city is going to move everyone out of there too. They want
to have the poor all run out of town for 2010 or at least hidden enough so
that the rich won't see them.

city hall. That little enclave of hell between Chinatown and Gastown will
be gone by 2008. Well, unless they derail the plan like they did the train

They are moving services to New Westminster so that people will move there,
the disabled and aged. The DTES and up Main is getting all renovated and
developed, there will be none of those trunk hotels left. They're going to
allow cutting-up apartments to replace them. That will be worse slumlords
than the hotels. The hard-to-house may end-up getting arrested or
encouraged to move to camps outside of town. They're building new,
supervised highrises for them but there aren't enough and as usual around
here, they're be queue jumping and misappropriation galore. The Portland
Hotel Society is crooked.
Can you hear those jackboots marching down Burrard?
