I hope and pray not to live a long life, shitty eh? Long enough to
see my kids through highschool and then that's enough. Long life is

somehow, that doesn't sound very nice for the children involved. that you
only care about them enough to see them through high school, then ADIOS! i
know that that isn't what you are saying here, but that is the message they
would get. Mom cared enough to get us through high school, but then she
checked out before she had the chance to see us REALLY succeed in life.
maybe you need a different perspective?
