it would destabalize the area and probably lead to a civil war. I said
it would strengthen the resolve of the more radical factions in the

Yeah what is it with that? I guess my growing up in a culture that
never mixes politics with religion was a good thing. Our Prime Minister
happens to be an atheist which is an irrelevancy here. All I can say
is... thank God! :-)

Basically because a couple of people had me tagged as a rabid

slaughtered. i bet that more civilians die in fighting in iraq
these days than are murdered in the us. i'd like to see the

the US had a comparable murder rate then approx 190 000 Americans would
have been murdered in 2006. And the figure of 12 000 civilian
casualties is hotly disputed.
Then you have the approx 1.6 million civilians who have fled Iraq since
the war began. Imagine 17 million people fleeing the US.
Pointless war and an execution which, in the eyes of the West hating

actually, it's the iraqi civilians who are being most heavily
slaughtered. i bet that more civilians die in fighting in iraq
these days than are murdered in the us. i'd like to see the
statistic, but i know it'll never be released accurately by
people without an agenda.

The US is a MUCH bigger country.

Iraq only has about 26 million people (or it did before we invaded). If
the US had a comparable murder rate then approx 190 000 Americans would
have been murdered in 2006. And the figure of 12 000 civilian
casualties is hotly disputed.
Then you have the approx 1.6 million civilians who have fled Iraq since
the war began. Imagine 17 million people fleeing the US.
Every month 100,00 Iraqis are fleeing their country... and it's not
only so many people being murdered in Iraqis, there are also so many
thousands of people with serious injuries... What a horrible thing this
Iraq war was... Clinton was impeached as a result of a private,
consensual affair with an intern. Bush doesn't get impeached for
misleading the world, and starting a totally unnecssary, disastrous
war, with devasating consequnces, among other crimes... something is
very wrong with this picture...
