He is definitely a pervert, but I'm not sure he is the person who killed
Jon Benet Ramsey.

would be nice to finally know who did it, shame the little girls mother
recently died of cancer and had no real closure though.

There is a lot of evidence to show that Patsy Ramsey wrote the ransom note.
I don't think she needed closure. I think she knew what happened.

Oh, he's plenty creepy, what with marrying both his wives when they were under

But did he do it? I doubt it. I expect the DNA will rule him out. I'm prepared

yes, he's definitely creepy for sure. but for several reasons, i am having
trouble connecting the dots and believing he did it. i hope to be wrong.

I don't know if they have enough to
connect the dots for a conviction ...
but they've got something more than
unpublished details in emails, imo.
I saw an interview with a handwriting
analyst who was comparing the "ransom"
note and stuff Karr had written in other
people's yearbooks. The comparisons were
freakishly similar (to my eye) and this
guy said that there'd be no problem
finding experts to testify to that. That
wouldn't be enough, imo.
Also, he had a tag line in the
yearbooks: "Soon To Be The Conqueror".
The "ransom" note had 'STBTC' written on
it.
But, if they had a DNA match, I think
that info would have found its way
public. He might have been there, but
not alone -- and that is what he said.
Of course, everything he has said, so
far, could be inadmissible at trial.
I'll hang with the 'presumed innocent'
crowd for now. But I'll bet they've got
something we don't know about.

yes, i agree (that they have something we don't know about)
yes that guy is massively creepy
i read that the journalist professor who'd been emailing with him received a
photo from him of himself as a small boy, holding a white "christmas" teddy
bear.....
they say one just like it was found in JonBennet's room and no one could
account for it.............
very strange
either he knew the perpetrator well or it is him (all the contradictory info
aside), i'm waiting on the DNA evidence............
what a very sad story the whole dang thing has been

Ewww, strange ... every single bit of it.

Well, I'll bet the silverware/glasses he
handled on the plane are already on
their way to the lab.

It has -- but it makes me feel sadder
for the less affluent, less photogenic
kids who get killed with little
attention from the community at all. Or,
maybe it's the mystery, the whodunit,
the bizarre details that makes it a big
story -- and it's not about JonBenet at all.

I heard just the opposite. That preliminary examinations have ruled him out
as the author of the note. Yet nine hand writing analysts have said that
the note was written by Patsy Ramsey. I still have a feeling that the
Ramsey's, at least Patsy, may be implicated somehow.

He seems to have given too much contradictory information already. Like
saying he picked Jon Benet up from school that day when it was the
Christmas holiday and school was out. He also said her death was an
accident when the fact is she was brutally beaten and strangled. PLus his
ex-wife has stated that he wasn't in Colorado at the time.
It's a bizarre case. A ransom note left when the dead body is still in the
house? Weird. And I can't help but wonder why nine hand writing analysts
have said that the ransom note was written by Patsy Ramsey, and after the
Ramsey's hired their own expert, they refused the release the results.

yes, that is what started me to wondering about him. the fact that his EX
wife would actually offer an alibi for him. and one he didn't ask for. she
just offered it on her own. why would she want to protect him unless he
truly actually didn't do it? i dunno...

i'd forgotten that about the ransom note. the whole case was weird from the
get-go. and the way the family paraded JonBenet around in those beauty
pageants at such a young age was weird, too. but why would they want to
kill their own child? and in such a bizarre way. i just don't get it.

I agree with you. I don't understand that "confess to a crime I didn't

is probably a lot we don't know yet. Weird story.

It happens a lot more than we know and is one of the main reasons the
police keep the details of crimes out of the public view.
I remember reading about the hundreds of people confessing to being the
zodiac killer when he was doing his thing... the real guy finally had to
send a letter to Herb Caen (columnist for the S.F. Chronicle) through the
police, to let the city and police know he was still around.
