Object: The kitten has landed.
Six weeks old. Black with a part white face, throat, chest and belly.
And four white socks. He's flaked out behind the sofa; the first time
since he arrived here five hours ago. He ate within five minutes of
getting here (in the armpit of Wynne's jacket), which we took as a good
sign.
He's going to be difficult to photograph, since he only stops to sleep.
He hasn't used the litter tray yet.
We showed Nelly to him, and him to Nelly. There was no reaction. This is
likely to change when they're both on their feet.
Oh yes, his name is Artois. Wynne chose it.

The opinions given above may be mine. They might also
just be what I feel like saying right now, okay?

He doesn't seem to have grasped the idea of lapping up liquids yet, and
the only time we know he went to the toilet was on Wynne when he was
asleep. Wynne has claimed him as his cat, so maybe he should do the
cleaning up after him. He went out instead.
Artois is asleep, waiting for Wynne to return, no doubt.

Art for short, I predict. Later you can adopt another and name it Pat,
short for Patois.

Artie is being touted. If it had been female, Wynne would have called it
Stella.

There's a theme there ...

I don't have a digital video camcorder, and when he's not sleeping he's
dashing. And wobbly.
Okay, the real reason, I let the battery drain on the digital camera.

As my mother often told me, "If wishes were horses then beggers would
ride." ;)
Enjoy your new kitty.
