I have cardinals in my back yard. They've been there all winter. A male and a
female. They are such pretty birds.
I hope they're nesting and that we'll soon see some baby cardinals.
Did you know that cardinals LOVE sunflower seeds?
Ooooops! Wrong newsgroup! I meant to post this to rec.birds.

Or alt.baseball. No, wait a minute...
Personally, I felt that, since there were Pope John Paul I and Pope John
Paul II, I thought Ratzinger should've named himself Pope George Ringo
I. Ah, well, c'est la guerre.

Being a member of the Hitler Youth, surely Ratzinger should be named
Pope Himmler or some such? I bet they've got one of those special
rooms in the Vatican for all his Nazi memorabilia, you know the kind,
with the shrine and the flaming torches and Hitler's skull on a
swastika flag-draped altar. IL Papa Nazi!

Speaking of la guerre, maybe he took his inspiration from the Revolutionary War.

Sitting in a box waving at folk might be a good career
move that pays well. I don't think about popes at all
though.
Had to read that about 5 times to understand it, and
prolly still don't.
Some of the posts here are kinda difficult to understand.
{waves} take care dude :-)
