the school I went to |
I'm thankful I went to the High school I went to...I think there were
too many issues that I wasn't working on,but If I had to not be
working on the issues I'm happy it was there and not somewhere else.I
was lucky to have a few good friends...

Jamal,
I'm just thankful I left public school after 4th grade...The kids
at my private school from 5th grade through 8th grade were
progressively friendlier to me,and I went to a small quaker school for
High school,where the kids were generally pretty friendly to me...If i
had stayed in public school,I'm sure it would have been a completly
different story...

That's one of the finest values about Jewish culture; it's very
focused on the family.
I know first-hand how it feels to share in that; I had the good
fortune during my adolescence to spend time in the home of a
Jewish family, where I was treated as one of their children.
It's very empowering to feel loved like that. It teaches you
self-acceptance. It teaches you compassion. It teaches you
empathy. All things that you seem to lack, Marty.

the frictions, disappointments and limitations of your
day-to-day life.
