it all goes into the dryer and i sit and watch it tumble ,

my dryer broke this week. the clothes tumbled fine, but it
didn't get warm, so they never dried. joe looked and some of the
wires had burned up (again). now i have my dryer back. of
course, tonight the microwave oven broke again...

i think this summer i might dry some things outside
we used to dry things outside in the warm weather, and on an
indoor line in front of the wood stove when it was cold. for ten
years, we had a washer but no dryer.

well i'm not sure if i'll get saw dust up here from the mill down there ,
i can't recall ever drying clothes outside , but sometimes there's ,
saw dust all over everything if the wind goes the right way
.

I still wash by hand, even though I got an inherated slightly leaky
wash machine.
By hand, just like a true hillbilly LOL
