The worst invention ever |
Who invented mornings? Mornings are awful like hell. The twit who invented
them should be in jail. The day should start at noon. Nights are all right.
They are for sleeping and resting, although I wake up at 4:30 AM anyway. But
when it starts getting to 7:00 AM, it's horrible. It's there where we should
have noon, Well, what the heck, I sleep from about 8:00 AM until noon
anyway.

Coming from someone who has gotten up late, gotten into work late, and
generally just been LATE his entire life, I have to differ.
The best times in my life were those when I would get up early in the
morning, before the hectic hustle of the workaday world had even
started, taking time out to wake up, to relax, to have a cup of coffee
in quiet peace. I found it endless energizing.
Of course, once everyone ELSE woke up too, it wasn't any fun any more.
Then I'd get depressed again, and start sleeping late again.
But one of the first advices I'd give people with chronic depression or
other vague sense of malaise is... get up early, and open the blinds to
the sun right away.

Yes, I know we need sunlight, but for some reason (perhaps because I will
have to go to work or move) I dislike sunrise. We have a lot of sunshine
where I live and I like the time of the day when the sun is completely out.
I do not precisely enjoy sunrise or sunset at the beach where all goes
orange and it's half dark half lit. I'm a weirdo.

I don't typically get the m*rnings from h*ll. and
am very thankful I don't.
What I dislike about myself is not having any fixed
schedule ... bc the lower periods seem to hit less
frequently when I don't.

I do not get mornings from hell either. It is not as big an issue for me,
but I dislike them. I like it when everybody is settled at work and busy and
occupied. I dislike the morning rushes to get wherever you want to get. And
I like the day full lit, not dusk where it is shadowy. I find it kind of
bleak.

I read it too fast and I didn't get you, obviously. Problem is, I wake up
very early when it is still dark, and then I have to sleep during the day. I
have to endure sunrise.

Get yerself a jet and fly from one time zone to the next. Do it the
right way round at the right time and I promise you you will never have
to experience mornings again.

I am a couple of bucks short to afford a jet. Besides airplanes are the
vehicles which most pollute and destroy the ozone layer. I do not want that
in my conscience.
