Hi Lynne
I'm ordering art supplies and wanted to ask you a couple questions. (1)
Have you ever worked with liquid watercolours in bottles? and (2) Have you
ever worked with iridescent watercolours? If yes to either question what
are your thoughts on them? I'm starting a new project and want to try
something a little different. I'm rather intrigued by the iridescent
watercolours, but none of the watercolourists I have spoken to have tried
them yet. If you have a minute I would appreciate the feedback. Thanks and
I hope you're doing well. :-)

Feel free to help me choose art supplies if you want, but it didn't occurred
to me that you do much of anything, let alone paint.

I tend to muddle around with acrylics. I am still rediscovering my
creativity. Haven't worked with water colours yet. Let me know how it goes.

I'm no longer an artist, no pen and inks anymore. I no longer am able to
write music or even make up stories. I used to do these. My first blow was
when my wife met her new husband. My last was when my daughter drowned.
My Ex did something amazing though. She used glass paint on an acrylic
panal. It was our daughter. The best thing she's ever done and it's amazing.
I bought it even. I look at it and I cry and I feel joy. She never saw what
she painted but I did so many times when we were there (her Mom never got to
see it, she wasn't there, it was post divorce). We,they(the kids) , told her
about it.
I've been told "Back Light It!". Fools. That would be like taking a
Bouguereau and putting it under neon. It takes a light of it's own every
from hour of the day. It has mornings! They are the sunrise. It has sunsets.
new mediums. This painting has the texture of a spanish oil painting BTW,
very thick and thin.
Don't mind %, he's kind of a mean prima donna. He likes to get folks dander
up. He likes a lot of attention, less paid the better I wonder.
Best wishes. Good hope and inspiration.
