There's a kids' party down the street |
and all the kids are blowing on horns and making other kinds of
noise.
Nothing special, except that the honking sounds are similar to
the squawks that my cockatoo makes, and he's busy squawking back
at the kids.
I'm not sure what he's thinking, but it's both funny and a bit
sad.

It's a bit sad because he's a captive bird, born in captivity,
but he's responding the way he would if a flock of cockatoos were
to fly over. (As if that'll ever happen, since we're in Canada
and wild cockatoos live in Australia.)
The more the kids blew on their horns, the more he would squawk.
I didn't go outside to check, but I'm sure the kids could hear
him, because when he shrieks, it's LOUD.
