Alvin's post was grossly misunderstood, he got flamed based on that
misinterpretation, and he got ticked off. I don't think he has anything to
apologize for. What *is* getting old (well, antedilluvian is a more

term) is that these misinterpretations happen on such an on-going basis,

and

the sort of mob mentality that rears its ugly head as a result. It's not
just on this group or usenet...we're merely a microcosm of what's going on
in the rest of our aching planet.

Yes, and we depressives aren't the least bit sensitive or emotional. Nope,
not at all. Actually, we are the first to attack and we are the first to
get defensive. And the first to get our feelings hurt. And the first to
feel guilty. And the first to get our feathers ruffled. It's sort of what
we're really good at.

Maybe it would be good to give Alvin some space to vent

I am really tired of this thread though, and I guess maybe I should be able
to vent about that as well? I hope Alvin isn't the only one allowed to vent
in here.

I think I'll say a blanket apology to anyone I offended in these Alvin
threads. I'm just weary of it all. Not just his threads either. Just all
of it. Just weary. Exhausted with the effort of existing.
