It would be interesting if they invented a time machine, where you
could travel back in time to whatever year you wanted to visit... you
could witness historical events, or go back to events in your own life
or your parents life... sometimes it's hard to imagine your parents
when they were young... you try to imagine it, but you just can't
quite do it... sometimes you have fantasies of how they were at the
time, but it can be difficult to see things in a fairly realistic way,
maybe... It's strange how when your young, you see your parents, as
just "your parents", and then, as you get older, you see them more as
3 dimensional human beings, seperate from you... so often, you want
your parents, and your therapist, to be perfect, and then you
gradually accept that they aren't perfect...

I'm afraid I'd try to do that paradox thing, by preventing my own conception so
I wouldn't have to be born. And of course then I couldn't go back in time to
prevent my own conception, so I WOULD be born. And then I could go back in time
and ...
.... maybe I'm just on the "would be born" cycle right now. See you all the next

Time is an evil concept best left alone. The only thing
you can say about it is it flows like a waterfall, and is
very very very destructive.
The HG Wells book/film comes to mind. Time however is
not a reversible concept. Nor in that, or the Superman movie.
I can remember some memories of when I was young, and thought
I forever would be. I still look young, and young is my surname,
however things are falling apart with me. They should'nt be
but are.
If I could go back in time I'd change a few things, I won't make a
list
here, however a number of event's I either did or didn't have control
over.

It's quite easy for me to imagine my father as a child due to
the number of stories he's told about when he was growing up.

Hi Lisa,
On one level I can imagine them as children, and growing up...
but on another level it's difficult, because I have a kind of
melodramatic, abstract, associative way of thinking... I can kind of
imagine how they were, on a "plot", emotional level... but I have a
hard time imagining them growing up on a concrete, down to earth
level...
