Object: To eat
Tonight I made:
pepper steak, home made with fresh greenpeppers and tomatoes,
butter nut squash,
Balsamic rice,
and fresh bread, just pulled it out of the oven.
For a snack later I bought unsalted peanuts and almonds, and have them
soaking in olive oil and herbs and spices with a few cracked red peppers to
give it a kick. I'll throw them in the oven to bake.
Not a lot of energy but no one else in the house really knows what I can
have on this No Iodine diet, and as long as all the ingredients are fresh
not processed and I use a NONIODIZED salt, I can eat it. Fresh herbs and
spices are better anyway.
I miss dairy products though :o( Milk, cheese etc anything with milk for
that matter has iodine in it :o(
Hope everyone is doing well.
Jane

That sounds really good. Well tonight, I made Fettuccine with Sweet Peas and
Proscuitto in a white wine cream sauce, with a side of garlic bread. Spring
Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette dressing, finished off with Orange Sorbet.
