I keep on keepin' on.
With work. With the house. With Maia and my wife and my mother-in-law.
With the two kitties.
I'm not complaining. It's not a bad life, all in all.
I got three white hibiscus plants for the yard. And a white pirie mango
tree and an allspice tree.
The allspice tree is a trip. If you break a leaf in half and smell, it's
like a pumpkin pie. <:o)
I need to decide where to plant them.
There's a puakenekene tree that I want to get, too. It has beautiful yellow
blooms and a sweet scent. The problem is that there's not that much sun in
the yard. The house shades the back yard, and there are large monkeypod
trees in the street leading up to it that shade the front yard.
The house and its grounds is a work in progress. What I do now will be
decisive for how it looks 10 to 15 years from now. It's that point out that
I'm trying to keep in mind.
