Has anyone tried ediets, and if so, how did you like it? We've been
looking at this, but the info that you get without actually paying
them anything is pretty limited, and I'm wondering (among other
things) how much you can personalize the program/select food, etc.,
and about some of their other support services...

I tried ediets for 2 weeks for free and I really didn't care for it. It
really wasn't very useful or user friendly for me. I ended up and went with
weight watchers on line. Much better.

Missy,
How did the weight watchers work for you?
My wife has mentioned trying it.
Would you suggest it to others?
David.

David.

The weight watchers is working out very well for me. It overs alot of
choices and is easy to follow. I do weight watchers online. I don't think
that I can handle going to a meeting. I have problems being around a bunch
of people I don't know.
And yes I would suggest it to others.

Much better how? And why did you think that the eDiets thing wasn't
useful; was it anything in particular?
They don't seem to let you do that couple of weeks for free thing
anymore....

Much better how?

It is more user friendly, it allows more choices. Easier to follow.

It wasn't really anything in particular. It was just that I don't really
think it was the right program for me.

That's really to bad. I like to try things like that out before spending
money on it.

Yeah. Plus I don't like that fact that the eDiets thing has a whole
lot of optional bits... online chat, personal trainer, etc., and every
one of them costs extra money, and the default thing, unless you
notice the little check marks, is to subscribe to them. And they
charge hefty cancellation fees if it's less than 3 months. It all
seemed a little mercenary to me. I mean, yeah, they're in it to make
money, but, well, it seemed very directed at tricking you into
subscribing to extra things. Rubbed me the wrong way.
I liked the WW site a lot better. I might try that.
Thanks, Missy!
