i even hear the woman i live with on it sometimes ,
if she gets a caller on a cell calling her at work
and i've heard her talked about too but it was all nice ,

It's a hand held RadioShack Dual Band, I don't see a Model Number just a
s/n, it says it has 1000 channels, sad to say I don't know how to really use
it accept for scanning frequencies, but there is CB scanning and weather
scanning as well.

I couldn't find a book for it, but ya I can get one at radio shack. They
preprogrammed a bunch of local channels so I haven't had to figure that one
out yet. I don't know how to stop the scanning on a certain channel if
something good is happening so it doesn't move on, but when I manually stop
it, it just goes to static. I really should play around with it and figure
it out. I had a table top one up in Minnesota that was easy to program, but
it was a much simpler model with a LOT less buttons.
