Twillight Zone moment |
So, I'm doing my thing, going to a convenience store to get my daily diet
coke, and to stop at the ATM.
As I pull up to the store, I get this intense thought about "Getting change
for a 100 dollar bill"
I'm thinking, strange and unusual thought. The intensity of it was little
odd, but it disappeared shortly, so I dismissed it.
I don't use 100 dollar bills, I don't have any on me...
So, I go inside the store, to the ATM, take out 200 dollars cash, in 20's
(what I usually do),
get my diet coke, and head to the cash register. I'm about to pay, when a
guy walks in the store... bit in a hurry asking the clerk to give him change
for a 100 dollar bill!
At this point I'm just slightly surprised. The clerk looks in the register,
and only has three 20-dollar bills, can't make change. I'm watching this,
and feeling a tad foggy. The guy is about to walk out of the store, kind of
bummed, when I finally react and go, hey, you need change? I have change for
a hundred. So I give him 5 - 20's, and take his 100 dollar bill.
Walking out of the store, I'm thinking, what a strange little episode. When
do I ever think of 'change for a hundred' and then to have it happen, not
even a minute later. What are the odds!
My grandma always thought I was a little bit clairvoyant. I usually think
that 'clairvoyance' is just coincidences.
Odd moment today!

Do these things happen often?
Last week I was driving home, at a certain point, I looked at my speedo and
noted I was over the speed limit by 10 ks I rarely if ever speed and my
first thought was "thats gonna cost me" and slowed down to right speed.
When my partner got home, she said did you see the speed camera on such and
such street. Where was it I asked, right where I checked my speedo.
Coincidence maybe, but I swear I did not see the speed camera at all. So
will have to wait to see if I got booked or if I slowed down enough before
it got me.

Do these things happen often?
Every once in a whu\ile. Lately, within the last year much more often.
Not only this one, but I've been having some dreams that give me a dejavu
feeling, cause few days or a week later, the thing i was dreaming about,
happens. And I'm not talking about little stuff that can happen to anyone,
like dreaming about someone running a red light, and then seeing it... I'm
talking about more complex and unusual stuff.
Last week I was driving home, at a certain point, I looked at my speedo
and
noted I was over the speed limit by 10 ks I rarely if ever speed and my
first thought was "thats gonna cost me" and slowed down to right speed.
Yea, I do that quite often. Except, I speed a lot. Then something
heightens my awareness, and I slow down... abouit half the times i do that,
I see a cop within seconds. Still, recently I got caught for speeding
anyways.
When my partner got home, she said did you see the speed camera on such
and
such street. Where was it I asked, right where I checked my speedo.

interesting. :)
I had another one, few months ago, that hed me doing something important
and unique (I'm omitting identyfyuing details here on purpose) for someone
very close. I could even see a face. I dismissed the dream, cause i didn't
recognize the face, and it was just a dream...
Welkl, just a week or two ago I found myself doing just the thing for
someone that I recently started liking a lot. Then the dram came to me, I
remembered the face etc... and I had this very strong sense of dejavu.
The oddest thing was that he was right there next to me, and I told him a
little bit about what is happening, and sked him if stuff like that happens
to him. (Now, this is someone I like a lot, but he doesn't officially know I
do, so it's just a professional relationship for now) So, the question I
asked would have been totally strange and off the wall.
The oddest thing was that he was totally unphased with the unusual and
non-business like question, and just calmly said, yea, it happens to me
too... as if he expected me to ask it.

I have a connection with my partner, now it could be said that because we
have been together for many years we just know how each other thinks. But
there have been too many times when I have been thinking something and she
has come right out and said what I have been thinking. Or vice versa.
My son is a different story, I get feelings about him. Years ago when he was
a boy, he spend some time living with some other people, one day I got this
sudden pain on the inside of my left arm, it was excruciating and at the
same time, I thought of my son and I got a feeling of pain and fear. So I
rang the people who were looking after him for me. When Alan (the father)
answered to phone, the first thing he said was I was just about to pick up
the phone to ring you, your son has had an accident and the ambulance has
just taken him to hospital. He is ok but he fell off a fence and gashed his
arm rather badly. I jumped in my car and raced to the hospital, it turned
out it was the inside of his left arm and he had 15 stitches to close the
wound.
I believe we all have a sixth sense, but it just depends whether or not we
are tuned into it or ignore it.

yea, this new one, there seems to be a very strong connection, even though
everything is still on the 'friends' level.
Few other people that know us both are convinced there's chemistry there
too, and I know on my part there definately is.
So... we'll see.
Right now, I'm kind of enjoying the "getting to know" part without the
pressure of a relationship, or expectatins that have a tendency to arise
from that.
oh, I'd like to tell you more, but it's past my bedtime here.
Nightey night, and big hugz!
