Two Nightmares and a Good Dream |
Night one: I'm with my father waiting for him to get ready to travel to a
job. I know my mother is already there, along with my two cats (all
recently deceased.) I can't wait to get going and I become very anxious.
This nightmare made me wonder if I might be better off just going on ahead
without dad.
Night two: I dreamt that I woke up the day after my wife had died, with the
usual feelings of wondering whether or not it was real. It was, and the
pain was unbelievable. Then I awoke for real, believing the dream was true,
and felt all the pain. I laid there sobbing for a couple of minutes until I
finally came to full consciousness, rolled over, and realized my wife was
right there.
That just made me want to snuff it to avoid the chance of ever going
through that pain.
Night three: I got a new job at a modeling agency. I was wandering around
with the owner, trying to figure out where my office was and, silently,
trying to figure out what the hell my job was supposed to be. While
wandering around, the models were all stopping and fawning over me. The
owner, an older but very attractive woman, kept telling them to get where
they are supposed to be. The owner was jealous because she liked me also.
That just made me want to die again because obviously that isn't ever going
to happen.

Sheesh, talk about going from one extreme to another, that's some
nightmare, though the end was a bit more heavenly...
