Unless your name is Slunky, don't take apart your laptop... |
I've removed 30 (literally) tiny screws and still can't get to the
keyboard (which I'm trying to replace). Worried I'll have to take it
into the Geek Squad <embarrassed> all taken apart since there are 3
different screw sizes and I'm already beyond the point of no return.
I'll keep at it for a while.

Sony. I got it back together, have 9 leftover screws but it works. I
better leave this one to the so-called experts, I panicked and couldn't
take it any further.

i let my dad take apart my last laptop to try to fix the power cord
port. i think we had five screws left over. boy was that whole thing a
scary experience. he made it vaguely better but i had to replace it
anyway.

You're better off going shopping for shotguns than calling the geek squad.
