The opinions given above may be mine. They might also
just be what I feel like saying right now, okay?

I'm actually afraid to light the WB stove I have (moved in in the
summer). No instructions, I think I figured it out...but haven't done
it. There's a fireplace too, and I have like 4 cords of wood. I just
don't want any surprises.
I know, it's stupid.

when we moved into our house, there was an old cast-iron ashley
stove that was the main heat for the place. we worried about
burning the house down since we didn't know what we were doing
at first with the flue dampers, but there was no option. it's
really not too complicated. if you're nervous, see if there's an
instruction manual on the web.

I did look on the web, it's a 'Grizzly', and I didn't find one,
although I saw fireplace inserts by the company. Looks about 17 years
old, and I've inspected it a lot, I think I found the dampers and
chokers... I'll light it in the next couple days. I've had them
before, wb stoves. Bought a beauty last year right before we ''had' to
move.
At least this one has a glass front, don't like to not see the fire.
oooo, blowers too. I'm just internally wrestling with it, like I do
with my pressure washer. Bought it 5 years ago, haven't used it,
scared of it....but I need to use it this spring. Hoping for a lesson
from my brother in law.
I know, I ask myself....'do normal people fear equipment like me?'
I haven't liked the answers I've given me.
gotta go pick up the pizza. cheers (hi lisa)
