i find myself shopping at wal-mart more and more. they really do have
lower prices. if they get serious about the grocery business, the
regular unionized grocery store chains will be in trouble.
for example, a 2 liter soda bottle is $0.99 at wal-mart. at a regular
grocery store the price is $1.59 unless you have a "preferred customer"
card, in which case the price is $1.29. that is still $0.30 more than
wal-mart's price.
