I was advised to have longer nails on the picking hand, to be able to
pick. I had a book that even explained how to interlay tissue paper and

I'm not anti-gay either. They are very generous people. I used to
semi-frequent a bar in Sheboygan that was a sort of half-gay/half town pub
type place (i.e. tolerant straight locals were welcomed warmly.)
I went there when I was short on cash. I guess I am especially attractive
to gay men since I never had to buy a drink. No deception either. Well, not
too much... I did tend to bat my eyelashes at likely grifting targets, but
I did always tell them that there would be no encounter other than some
conversation at the bar.
Except for the one time when my car wouldn't start (bitter winter), and the
owner of a local restaurant allowed me to stay at his place. He put on some

Once a woman came on to me in the bathroom of a coffee house in the
university district. Even though I've always had a ton of gay friends it
still felt sooo -- *weird!* Well, maybe because she came into the actual
bathroom and just started going instead of waiting outside like she was
supposed to till I was done, and kept trying to get me to look at her going!
And then did very rude things to herself and asked me to join her! Augh!!
The worst part was that the friend I was with thought it was the most
hilarious thing he'd ever heard when I got back to our table, and he told
all our other friends. This was unfortunately right before we were all
going to go to the opening of a new coffee house, named...here it comes...
