Oh. Well, we flew from the local airport, which was nice, and arrived in
time to do some grocery shopping, which was definitely a Good Thing, as we
didn't take anything with us for the apartment.

It was sunny almost all the time - one cloudy morning, so we didn't feel
guilty about doing nothing, which was easy, as we were both getting over
virus infections. We didn't go anywhere we couldn't walk, except for the
mattress place, and I wasn't walking far, with the virus.

It was a very British resort, and it was impossible to find a Spanish
restaurant. The best I managed for foreign food was pizza in a German bar,
while my wife had locally caught sardines. Most of the bars had big screen
TVs to watch British football on.

The one mistake we made was not doing the major shop on the second day, so
we had things left over for the cleaners to dispose of when we left.

My mood wasn't bad, but I couldn't concentrate on anything. I didn't
manage to finish a single book, while my wife managed two in a day. We did
watch a few DVDs, but basically, it was a do nothing holiday for me.
