Thee weather in Dallas sucks again this morning. More snow and people are
staying home. Temps below freezing all day. Not good.
The critical day for me is tomorrow night, and the weather looks a bit more
favorable. 0-10 degrees above freezing for most of the day. Hopefully warm
enough to melt ice. But predicted evening showers could delay flights. My
flight lands at 9:21 so it wouldn't take much of a delay to really start
cutting in to my sleep time. I'd rather not start the first day of class
exhausted.

i've got my fingers crossed for you. if it's just showers,

Thanks, I very much appreciate the positive thoughts.
I was afraid of this when they told me they were pushing my flight up from
Saturday to Thursday. That huge front that has been parked over the center
of the country just wasn't moving very fast.
I'm hoping for light showers during the day tomorrow. That might delay
things some, but the rain will also help melt whatever ice and snow there
is. The temperature should hover above freezing so hopefully new ice won't
form.
All this snow and ice must be really affecting all the Texas locals.
