Good policy. Mine is setup to prompt me every time it wants to install a
cookie. I got sick of cleaning out a thousand copies of the sextracker
cookies.

so if i really wanna see it its just as easy as a check in the tools drop

internet/virus security?

Wireless networks are easier, but wired is about as easy as XP.

Yea, if you want to pay for a subscription to OneCare or whatever it's
called. They've taken bits and pieces from other security programs and
integrated them into the OS which can be seen as both a good and bad
thing.

Yes, the much talked about WinFS, before they killed it. It was the only
part of Vista that sounded remotely interesting.
I'm sure. Bad buisness for me. I sell older fixed up systems on eBay,
and they're nowhere near the specifications for Vista.
You may not have to worry about that for a while considering what MS is
charging for the various versions of Vista. And given the new hardware
requirements, I think Vista acceptance will be the slowest in the history of
operating systems. Another strike against it is how stable XP is. People
are not going to upgrade just to get bug fixes.

the basic, which msn says isn't even worth the fee is $99 for the upgrade
they msn said the ultimate is something like $199 and even msn is saying
that's way out there for an OS
