Well, guess I won't be doing that play after all. |
Not with this case of pneumonia the dr. says I have. No leaving the
house 'til at least the end of the month.
The rest of my life continues to suck as well, FWIW.

Oh no. Pneumonia's bad. I hope you can get plenty of rest to
heal up quickly, Nick. Just what you needed on top of feeling
like crap emotionally. Though maybe your physical illness made
you more vulnerable emotionally. Feel better soon and keep
posting if it helps.

Ah... pneumonia is always fun.
Don't screw around with it. It's unbelievable how quickly pneumonia can go
from an annoyance to a very serious problem. I've got the foot long scar
to prove it.
Stay dry and warm.

Remove it, no... they did have to pick it up and move it out of the way at
some point I'm sure.
They sucked and scrapped over two quarts of crap out of my chest cavity
and off of my heart and lungs.
You don't want pneumonia as bad as I had it.

Nope. Back when I was in junior-high some super-bug blew through town and
I was one of twenty-some-odd people hospitalized.
It took less than four hours for me to go from being perfectly fine to
barely being able to breathe. I never had a cough the whole time and
didn't even realize I was running out of air until someone noticed I
seemed to be breathing "too much". I may have just sat there and died
otherwise. By the time I got to the hospital the top quarter of my right
lung was all that was still functioning. My left lung was completely full
of goop and oozing it out all over my insides.
