Well I'm in the computer room at my college |

*** CAVEAT: the following is a rant so you're advised to
skip it.
And everything looks as usual. Except my old password didn't
work - had to get it changed (which I hate), and then I will
get it changed again when some professor arrives to the
conclusion that it is proper and fitting that we get to get
an all-new password, for no particular reason.
And when I finish here - at around 14:20 - do I get to rest?
Nooooo. I have to go out to stick ads around my neighbourhood,
"physics/maths classes, cheap". Now that is a crappy job.
So, if I'm lucky, I'll be teaching kids who couldn't care less
what I'm talking about from 17:00 to around 21:30, at least
three days during workdays, and saturday/sunday mornings.
And then I have to do /my/ homework. During the schoolyear I seldom get
to bed before 1 in the morning (assuming I don't keep
posting to ASD until much later like an idiot).
I don't have the self-discipline to keep an ordered life. Mea
culpa.

I'd just hate to teach young kids. The rest I can do, but I get tired just
listening to you. I used to be a workaholic when I was about your age and
for many years more. As soon as I started having assistants, I became the
laziest professor in the world.
