I wouldn't take it personally. This newsgroup is nothing but a place
for trolls and spammers to post. This NG was once useful but not any
more. If anything, this NG proves just how mentally ill some people
are. Those who actually come here to discuss depression tend to get
shunned and if they take it seriously, they get more depressed reading
this NG. The old timers on her are all long gone. Either they went
to some other discussion groups, gave up using the internet to discuss
their issues, and several have committed suicide and are now resting
in peace.
This NG is pretty much useless. I have pretty much unsubscribed too,
but I check back from time to time and every time it's sadder and
sadder the content of trash posted on here.

filled with sluts and whores and other good stuff. wah, wah, bring back the
golden days.
i have nothing better to do than ***** and moan. rather than contributing to
the signal level, i'll just make more noise.

some of the mother fuckers in alt.sup.sz also ***** about the old days.
they forget just how heated the group was in 2000. there were some serious
flame wars, and arguments, at that time. yet they only remember the good

You weren't around when she was but mentally speaking you two deserve each
other.
BTW did I mention how in love I am and what a great guy he is.. Oh he works

I think "muster" is when everybody lines up a an inspector walks down
the line and semlls each person. If you're not musty, you pass.
Hello, Ty. don't go yet please. Give me a chance to ignore you too.
OK? Or do you want a hug or something? Boo!.

pass muster -
Meet a required standard, as in That yard cleanup won't pass muster
with Mom. This expression originally meant "to undergo a military
review without censure," muster referring to an assembling of troops
for inspection or a similar purpose. [Late 1500s]
cut the mustard -
Perform satisfactorily, as in We need a better catcher; this one just
doesn't cut the mustard. The origin of this expression is disputed.
Some believe it alludes to mustard in the sense of the best or main
attraction (owing to its spicing up food), whereas others believe it
is a corruption of pass muster. Still others hold that it concerns the
preparation of mustard, which involves adding vinegar to mustard seed
to "cut" (reduce) its bitterness. The expression is often in negative
form, as in the example. [Slang; c. 1900]

Is someone going to dictionary this, or what?

Etymology: based on the military use of the phrase pass muster (= to gather
soldiers in a group to show officers they are acceptably dressed and
equipped)
