we're all extremely sick.. |
except the 4 y.o.
I have some horrible strep which has gone into my larynx, and now I squeak
whisperingly when I try to talk. my neck also feels like there is a tire
inflated around it. The 18 m.o. has a bad ear infection, has lost 2 pounds,
and is shrieking glass-shatteringly regularly. M got food poisoning last
night from a restaurant we all went to, and has been basically unconcious
all day, after puking/shitting her guts out for the first half of the day..
...while I was at work at my new job, which I don't feel like I can take sick
leave from just yet, even though I really need to..
and I see ASD is still just as troll-focused and "supportive" as ever..

thanks u2b.. ..mostly everybody else is better but me.. ..I seem to be
getting worse at the moment.. ..but I'm glad the others are able to cope on
their own now, so I can huddle under the covers and tell them to deal if I
need to..

No way am I going to listen to that and not reply ;-)
Sounds like life is hell right now and to make things worse your child
has been sick and man, do I remember those ear-piercing screams when
my children were younger and sick. Oh gawd, just thinking about it
right now makes me cringe. It's so hard to even *think* when my kids
scream and all I want to do is get away from the noise, even if just
for a bit. Hang in there Ty, these illnesses will get better and
hopefully things won't look as bleak then. I'm sorry for all you're
having to deal with and don't let ASD trouble you. There are sitll
many good people here who care and will be supportive.

guess M. is pulling out of it now. It can be even worse when
you have a well child, too, who can't understand everyone

Hi Ty :)
I read you and I sympathise because I've been sick all week too with a
virus of some sort. My housemate had it too, so we could both sit
around and feel miserable together.
