Object: Wet, dark, dreary day.
It wasn't even proper rain - the clouds just dribbled from dawn till
dusk.
Every time I got up, I'd look out of the window and my body would tell
me to crawl back under the duvet. All I've managed today is ten minutes
tickling Nelly's belly. And holding the door open for Sophy to try to
decide if she really, really needed to go out into the grey wetness.
Four hours to go till official bedtime. (Sigh)

It's bloody cold in here.

We had proper rain here, alright. And wind. Now it's sleeting.

Bit extreme that, for London, isn't it? I haven't dared to look outside
yet. Weather report to follow.

Bright but no sun. Colder, but dry. Breezy. The stupid petrol pump
wouldn't go faster than a trickle, and only let me have £11 worth before
stopping all together, so I nearly froze putting far less fuel in the
tank than I wanted. Better day, apart from that.
I didn't realise till recently how much the weather affects me. Maybe it
has only recently started affecting me this much. I keep thinking I've
got a handle on this illness, then it morphs.

Oh we get proper weather here sometimes. I've had to push my motorcycle
through a blizzard to get to a place where I could park it, walked 8 miles
home up to my knees in snow, and found the bike drifted right over in the
supermarket carpark three days later. Only once though, in 20 years. Not
like Manchester, had to dig the car out many a morning there.
Today we have cirrus clouds, spirited but easing westerly winds, (but the
clouds are running from the south) and a rising glass. Probably going to
be a trifle cool tonight. The sun is not at all red as it goes down.
